Sick Policy:

Children who are ill should be kept at home. Please call the Yunhap Kiddie Land’s main number at 770) 500-1052 if your child will be absent. The teacher will do an informal health check daily upon the child’s arrival. The staff is authorized to send a child home if they believe the child’s health is a risk to him/herself or others. If a child becomes ill during the day, the parent/guardian will be called to pick up the child. If the parent/guardian can not be reached by telephone, emergency contacts will be called in the order they are listed on the child’s application.

 

Keep your child at home if he/she has any of the following:

A fever over 100 degrees.
He or she has not been fever free for at least 24 hours.
A sore throat which has not been examined or treated.
A productive cough.
A contagious and/or infectious condition (viral infection, lice, conjunctivitis, impetigo, etc.) which has not been under treatment for at least 14 hours.
Please notify the school if your child has a contagious condition.

 

Medications:

Staff at Yunhap Kiddie Land will not administer any form of medication to the students. If a child must take medication, it should be given by the parent either before/after school. No medications are to be kept or taken by a student.

 

Allergies:

Please advise us of any food or medical allergies (including a description of the  symptoms which occur) your child may have. Please provide the teacher with written instructions for the care of the student.

  

Withdrawing from Program:

If there is a need to withdraw your child during the school year, you must give a 30 days notice. If  30 days notice CAN NOT be given, you must to pay the following months’ tuition.
